Porcelain Lamps
question about re-painting porcelain Lamps?
I want to re-paint a lamp with a very shiney porcelian surface, what should I do to the surface before painting, and is there a special spray paint I should use?
Craft stores carries a type of paint called “Model enamel” for model cars and such that can be used to repaint over glazed porcelain because it adheres to glaze and will cover over any color underneath. First you need to clean the lamp really well with glass cleaner, then let it dry before you paint it.
